I worked for West Lancashire Borough Council for over thirty years before being elected as Ashurst Ward councillor in 2010. I have lived in Ashurst for over 26 years and am passionate about helping to improve the local environment.

During my time on the council I have helped to bring significant investment into Ashurst including improvements at Longhey play park and the Tawd Valley Mountain Bike Trail.

In my role as the Portfolio Holder for Leisure at West Lancashire Borough Council, I have also played a key part in securing funding for a new Skelmersdale Leisure Centre.
