Cllr Neil Furey

I’ve lived in Skelmersdale for the last 29 years and am married with 2 children. I enjoy football, cricket, and travel.

I became a Councillor in 2008 and advocate for people on many issues. I represent the council on various committees bringing resident views to these. I’m a school governor at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Engineering College and Crow Orchard Primary School. I intend to continue working very hard to ensure local issues are raised at the Council.

I am determined to see continued investment across this town and the major redevelopment of Skelmersdale Town Centre.
