Gareth has lived and worked in Ormskirk since 2008 and is a councillor for Knowsley Ward and Ormskirk West Ward here since 2014.

He has spent his life working and volunteering to support others, through his union, Labour, and Co-operative work, for Alzheimer’s Society, serving in community roles like Ormskirk Flood Group Secretary, school governor, on Ormskirk School Trust and rugby club Director.

He also supports Knowsley Credit Union where he is Vice Chair, SWL Independent Community Advice Network and West Lancashire Dial A Ride.

Passionate about Ormskirk, he is responsible for increasing flood resilience, securing speedbumps on Cottage Lane and saving the red phone box in the town!
