Karl has lived and worked in West Lancashire for many years. He’s a local dad and veteran, having served as a Corporal in the Royal Engineers reserve during the Cold War.

With over 40 years’ experience in business, he’s worked with small firms, family businesses and start-ups, helping people to build stable jobs and stronger local economies.

Over the past eight years, Karl has focused on helping people who are out of work to start their own businesses. He’s also supported existing firms in the North West to grow, become more efficient, and adopt more sustainable ways of working.

Karl also has experience leading renewable energy projects. He managed the largest solar panel scheme ever delivered in West Lancashire, helping to cut energy bills in homes, schools and community buildings.

Karl works by listening and finding practical ways forward. Whether it’s housing, transport, or local jobs, he’s focused on what works and what’s needed for local people.
